Section 1
Duration, How to Enter and Win
1.1 Duration. The Station, operated by Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC, is running a promotional event from Thursday, January 26, 2012 to Friday, February 17, 2012, excluding holidays or until terminated sooner by announcements on Station.
1.2 How to Enter/Win. Listen for the Casino Jackpot Sound Effects weekdays between 9am and 5pm, be the 7th caller to the “Bone Phone” (1-877-810-Bone) (1-877-810-2663) to win the qualifying prize of a case of Bud Light Beer courtesy of Allentown Beverage and one-night escape to Harrah’s Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ and be qualified for the Livin’ On The Edge Grand Finale on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Date of Grand Finale (2/22/12) is pre-determined and may not change. All calls to any other Station phone number(s) will not be accepted. Qualifying Prize includes one case of beer, bus transportation with overnight accommodations at Harrah’s Resort & Casino on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 for the grand finale event and a gift certificate for an overnight stay at Harrah’s Resort & Casino at a later date. Register at participating locations and Beer Distributors in the Lehigh Valley or on line at www.winatbudlight.com to increase your chances to qualify. Participating locations are listed at www.winatbudlight.com.
1.2.1 There will be (1) on-air Qualifying Prize Winner a day, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm that will win a case of Bud Light Beer courtesy of Allentown Beverage, bus transportation with overnight accommodations at Harrah’s Resort & Casino on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 for the grand finale event and (1) one-night escape to Harrah’s Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. One night escape is good Sunday thru Thursday only, excludes holidays and is based on availability and must be redeemed before December 31, 2012.
1.2.2 There will be a grand total of (8) qualifiers from register to win entries of participating locations and on line at www.winatbudlight.com who will also receive a case of Bud Light, bus transportation with overnight accommodations at Harrah’s Resort & Casino on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 for the grand finale event and (1) one-night escape to Harrah’s Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.
1.2.3 You may only win/qualify once during The Livin’ On The Edge contest.
1.2.4 When you win the Qualifying Prize during The Livin’ On The Edge contest, you will be automatically qualified to win the Grand Prize as defined below.
1.2.5 Must be 21 or older participate.
1.2.6 The odds of winning depend on the number of persons participating in the contest.
1.2.7 All qualifiers will participate in the grand finale event party at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Qualifiers with one guest each will receive bus transportation to Harrah’s in Atlantic City, NJ at 2pm on 2/22/12 for the grand finale drawing and overnight stay. Each passenger on the bus will receive a $10 slot voucher for Harrah’s Casino (“Harrah’s Voucher”). Guests of all qualifiers are not eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing Finale. The Harrah’s Voucher cannot be cashed in. It must be used in one sitting at a slot machine. You must be a member of the free Casino Total Rewards Program in order to receive your $10 slot voucher. You may sign up for the free Casino Rewards program if you are not a member already when you receive your voucher.
1.2.8 Qualifiers will receive their gift certificates for the one night AC escape and case of beer when they board the bus on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Beer must be picked up at later date at Nassau Broadcasting Offices at 107 Paxinosa Road West, Easton PA or 22 South 6th Street, East Stroudsburg, PA. Qualifiers should call ahead to confirm hours of operation.
1.2.9 Qualifiers must be present at the grand finale in Atlantic City to participate in the finale drawing for “Livin’ On the Edge” bet. Qualifiers participating in the grand finale will meet the bus to Atlantic City at Valley Plaza Shopping Center on Catasauqua Road in Allentown by 1:30pm on Wednesday, February 22nd. Departure will be at 2pm. Bus will depart Harrah’s in Atlantic City on Thursday, February 23 at 11am. If qualifiers miss the bus, they may drive to Harrah’s and check in with station staff by 9pm at designed area at Harrah’s. If qualifiers miss the return bus, they must find alternate transportation and be responsible for any charges for alternate transportation. Bus will depart promptly at 11am.
1.2.10 Qualifiers will be able to pick up their prize at Nassau Broadcasting if they are not able to attend the Grand Finale event on 2/22/12.
Section 2
Grand Prize
2.1 All qualifiers will meet the Bone at a designed area at 9pm at Harrah’s in Atlantic City. At this time, each of the qualifiers’ names will be added to the Bone Prize Barrel. At 9:15pm, the station will begin to randomly select qualifiers names from the Prize Barrel. The last name in the barrel will win the opportunity to place $2,500 bet on either black or red on the roulette table.
2.2 Grand Prize Finalist will receive $2,500 cash to play on the roulette table at Harrah’s Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. Grand Prize Finalist must place the entire $2,500 down on either black or red. Up to 3 runs are permitted prior to final bet. Grand Prize Winner could win $5,000 (if the spin is successful) or he could lose the $2,500. If the $2,500 bet is lost, the Grand Prize Winner would receive $500.
2.3 Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
2.4 Nassau Broadcasting is not responsible if the prize awarded becomes unavailable due to any reason beyond Nassau Broadcasting’s control.
2.5 All qualifiers participating in the grand finale event must sign a release/waiver form. If waiver is not signed, they will not participate.
2.6 Grand Prizewinner must show proper identification and proof of age before prize is released.
2.7 Qualifiers and their guests are responsible for any loss or damage which is caused by qualifiers and guests to the property or to any personal property of the owner during their stay. Qualifiers and guests agree to leave the property in a clean and orderly condition.
Section 3
Other Qualifications
3.1 No purchase is necessary.
3.2 Odds of winning will depend on the number of qualified entries.
3.3 Contest is open to all residents of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. All employees of Allentown Beverage, Easton Coach, Big Woody’s Pizza, participating register to win locations, and Service Electric Television, agents, successors, interns, and assignees of Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC, employees of other radio or television stations and members of their immediate families are ineligible. The term "immediate family"
includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws", or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related. Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. residents.
3.4 Only one winner per prize. No "duos," groups, or teams will be allowed to enter together. Any ties, disputes, conflicts, questions, or concerns, regarding the Contest and/or the prize(s), will be handled by the Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC whose decision(s) are final and indisputable.
3.5 Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the "Caller ID" block function may not be allowed to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number. Station disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond Station's control, or otherwise. Station disclaims all liability for any delays, mis-delivery, loss or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method. Station is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled
or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the contest, and any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in this contest. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC stations are not responsible for broken telephone connections, busy signals, mis-dials or lost phone calls.
3.6 The bet 0f $2,500 will be video recorded and posted on website.
Section 4
Acceptance and Delivery of Prize
4.1 All prizes must be accepted as awarded. All prize(s) are non-transferable. Inability to accept or deliver prize(s) will result in forfeiture. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC retains the right to substitute prize(s) with other prize(s) of equal or greater value in the event the original prize(s) offered is not available for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC. Any valuation of the prize(s) awarded is based on available information provided to Station, and the value of any prize (as determine by Station in its sole discretion) awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law.
4.2 It is anticipated that qualifiers should have possession of the their qualifying prize within 80 days of winning, however, Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC makes no guaranty as to the actual delivery date.
4.3 All Contest(s)/Prize(s) subject to Federal, State, and local regulations and laws and are void where restricted or prohibited by law.
4.4 If prize(s) includes travel, lodging, entertainment, special event, or an automobile, the winner(s) is responsible for all taxes, expenses, and gratuities not expressly included in and as part of the prize(s). Winners agree to all blackout periods, space availability requirements, etc., as stated by the Station and Contest prize partner(s), which shall include hotels, airlines, train travel, ship/boat travel, etc. Winner(s) agree that acceptance of any trip as a prize(s) from Station does so entirely upon their own initiative, risk, and responsibility.
4.5 Winner(s) must use their true, legal, name when playing contests or claiming prize(s) and may not win any contest under an assumed name. Winner(s) will be disqualified and prize(s) forfeited if they are found playing under an assumed name or alias.
Section 5
Preconditions of Winning
5.1 Any person winning over $600 in prizes from Station will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
5.2 Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable Federal, Sate, Local and other taxes. Each winner must provide Station with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Failure to timely provide such information and/or any other reasonably required documentation, including, without limitation, a release and affidavit of eligibility, may result in delay in receiving prizes or the forfeiture thereof. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
5.3 By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC the permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likeness in connection with the promotion (via print, broadcast or other forms of media) of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, compensation or remuneration for such use. By calling the contest lines, voices and names may be recorded and used for promotional or broadcast purposes.
5.4 Each winner must provide Station with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Failure to timely provide such information and/or any other reasonably required documentation, including, without limitation, a release and affidavit of eligibility, may result in delay in receiving prizes or the forfeiture thereof.
Section 6
Release
6.1 Contest winners, on their own behalf and on behalf of their heirs, successors, representatives and/or assigns, hereby fully and forever remises, releases and discharges Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC and each and all of its subsidiary and affiliated corporations, companies and divisions, its predecessors, successors and assigns, and its respective directors, stockholders, officers, employees and agents, of and from any and all claims, demands, agreements, contracts, covenants, actions, suits, causes of action, obligations, controversies, debts, costs, expenses, accounts, damages, judgments, losses and liabilities, of whatsoever kind or nature, in law, equity or otherwise, whether known or unknown, whether or not concealed or hidden, which against it or any of it, they have had, may have had or now have, or which any of their heirs, representatives and assigns hereafter can, shall or may have for or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not in any respect limiting the generality of the foregoing, any and all claims which or might have asserted relating to this contest.
6.2 Winners must pick up prize at the Nassau Broadcasting offices in Easton, 107 Paxinosa Road West, Easton, PA, or 22 South 6th Street in Stroudsburg if unable to attend finale on 2/23/12. Please call business office to ensure operating hours at 610.258.6155 in Easton or 570.421.2100 in Stroudsburg.
Section 7
Indemnity
All participants and winners indemnify and hold forever harmless Station, and Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC and their agencies, their agents, officers, employees, affiliates, and assigns, for any injuries, accidents, misfortunes, losses, damages, or causes of action, arising from or in connection with participation in the Contest and/or acceptance or use of any prize(s).
Section 8
Miscellaneous
8.1 Station reserves the right to change contest rules and/or dates at any time without additional notice.
8.2 Station reserves the right to add or subtract additional station or stations to this contest at any time.
8.3 Station is considered the “judge.” Judge’s decisions are final.
8.4 Station reserves the right to end and or modify the contest at any time without additional notice or further compensation required.
8.5 All contest winners must execute an Indemnity and Release agreement in order to accept the prize.
8.6 Nassau Broadcasting Contest information, rules, and results are available for inspection at the business offices Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM, or by sending a self-addressed envelope to Nassau Broadcasting Contests, 107 Paxinosa Road West, Easton, PA 18040.
