Bono's daughter Eve Hewson, 19, will appear in the upcoming film This Must Be The Place, with Sean Penn. She has acted before in a 2008 indie drama called The 27 Club. Sean Penn better watch his temper on the set or Bono will bury him!

Guns N' Roses played a few acoustic gigs in NYC recently for Fashion Week. Axl showed up late of course and looked more like actor Mickey Rourke than his old self. Rourke was one of the VIP's spotted at the show along with Fabrizio from the Strokes.

Yup that's Rob Zombie with David Caruso on the set of CSI: Miami. Zombie makes his television directorial debut on an episode of CSI: Miami that will air on Monday, March 1st.

Here's a look at the cover of Mary Forsberg Weiland's new book called Fall to Pieces: A Memoir of Drugs, Rock 'n' Roll, and Mental Illness, due out November 10th. The book reveals candid stories like of a time at a 4th of July party at Leonardo DiCaprio's house in Malibu where the Weiland's arrived in long-sleeved turtlenecks to hide needle tracks and scabs. This is gonna be good!!

I hate to say it, but I think it might be time for the Aerosmith retirement party. The latest in a series of medical setbacks for the band happened earlier this week when Steven Tyler fell off the stage in South Dakota. The sound system failed during "Love in an Elevator" and he tried to dance on the catwalk to entertain the crowd until he fell off the stage and into the crowd. Here's the video from TMZ.com:

KINGS OF LEON: PRETTY IN PINK?
Kings of Leon made their Today show debut this morning and played 3 songs: Sex on Fire, Use Somebody and Notion. My one complaint: lead singer Caleb Followill wore a pink shirt that matched his pink guitar strap! Please tell me your stylist made you do this for TV or somebody is going to get a beat down!!

BEASTIE BOY ADAM "MCA" YAUCH HAS CANCER
Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch revealed yesterday on YouTube that doctors found a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland. The good news is that the cancer is confined to just that area and is treatable. More good news- Adam's vocal chords are not affected, and he expects to make a full recovery. Understandably, the band is cancelling their upcoming tour dates including Lollapalooza and All Points West and is delaying the release of their new album Hot Sauce Committee, Part One. Eddie Van Halen has filed a lawsuit against Nike saying they used the famous pattern design of his guitar on a new line of sneakers without his permission. Take a look, I don't really see what the big deal is.

Congrats to Dave Grohl and his wife who had another kid on Friday. It's another girl! They named her Harper Willow. Dave described her as, " loud as hell!" They also have a 3-year old named Violet. school photo of Dave Grohl and his Mom Virginia Grohl from 1982 in The Washington Post.
She let Dave drop out of Annandale High School when he was 17 to tour Europe with the punk band Scream.
What a cool Mom!
